I’m a freelance creative.
I thrive on staying busy and producing thoughtful, beautiful creative work.
I completed a B.A. in English in 2015, and went on to complete College of the North Atlantic’s Graphic Design program in 2017. While completing my undergrad I worked with the student newspaper, and during my graphic design program I won Pinnacle Awards and competed nationally in Skills/Competences Canada’s Graphic Design competition, representing Newfoundland and Labrador on the national stage.
Since 2016 I’ve been working as a freelance writer and designer, and I’ve held marketing, design, and writing positions in the public sector, not-for-profits, and creative agencies.
Through working in agency I’ve formed a love of research and strategic planning. A holistic view of the market you operate in really helps inform thoughtful, hard-hitting creative. Don’t take my word on it – see my work for yourself.
I’m continuing to grow my knowledge of strategy by working toward my MSc in Digital Marketing with a focus on Data Analytics and Strategic Management.
In my spare time I love to cook, read, draw, spend time with my family, hike with my dog, and drink allll the coffee.
